A fabulous public exhibition of avant-garde fashion will be held at The Gallery on Charing Cross Road from 12th until 31st July 2007. A mix of new and established London designers have each been challenged to create and donate a conceptual garment that will display the sheer artistry of fashion. The aim is to raise money and increase awareness of “Help a London Child” – a charity that supports underprivileged children and young people across our capital city.
An inspiring host of designers have shown their willingness to give back to the community they live and work in, including Giles Deacon, Matthew Williamson, Hussein Chalayan, Gharani Strok, Eley Kishimoto, Preen, Belle and Bunty, Basso and Brooke, Hamish Morrow, Camilla Staerk, Sinha–Stanic, Jasmine Di Milo, Jean Pierre Branganza, Collado Garcia, Ashley Isham, Tata- Naka, Tracy Mulligan for Xterity, Kristian Aadnevik, Bora Aksu, Manish Arora and Antoni and Alison.
Wednesday 11th July 2007 will host a VIP launch/fashion fundraising event.

Capital 95.8’s Help a London Child (HALC) was founded in 1975 by Lord Attenborough, with the aim of improving the lives of thousands of vulnerable children living in our capital city. London is not only one of the wealthiest cities in the world, but it is also home to children suffering from abuse, poverty, homelessness, disability and illness. Help a London Child specialises in funding grass roots projects and supporting their work to improve the lives of these children.
